Brand The Enemy

Whether it’s the Islamic State of Iraq (ISIS) or Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Pl. ICE’S), both organizations share a common pronunciation – i.e., they’re homophones – more importantly, they have similarities with another infamous group based on how they act, not how they sound.

The Gestapo.

The Secret State Police during the German occupation of Europe.

Our ICE is a domestic terrorist organization.  Like ISIS.

Today, ICE is acting more like the Gestapo.

Never forget that America was once and (never more) the haven for the tired, the poor, the huddled masses yearning to breathe free.

But the T Rump administration has changed everything, especially for Mexicans who happen to be in America.

Can you imagine what it’s like to be a Hispanic in America today?  Think about it.

Please.  Think about it.

What our administration is doing is horrific, but consistent with an administration that espouses hatred and disrespect for all non-white Americans.

Separating children from their families is inhuman.  Immoral.  Unconscionable.  Un-American.

And that’s just one piece of evidence.

Here’s what I expect from the Department of Justice that will make our ICE’s job more effective.

The DOJ will issue “identifying badges” for ALL Hispanics designed to be worn overtly on their clothing to segregate them from the “normal” population.

Persecution must be efficient.

What can we use that’s tantamount to the Star of David?  A symbol that will let ICE’s agents know this person is an enemy of America?  Someone they should target and punish.

The Virgin Mary?

What’s Your Poison?

A drink?  Some OxyContin?  A Sig-Sauer?  What about a tight-fitting noose?

Some interesting, albeit disturbing, trends have been manifest over the past two years and there doesn’t appear to be an end to their momentum.

So what’s going on?

Are these trends symptomatic of a darker, more seismic cultural shift or are they unrelated, random aberrations with no discernable rhyme or reason?

Suicide Rate

Over the past two years the suicide rate has reached an all-time high; moreover, it’s much higher in Republican states that voted for T Rump than in democratically dominated states.  Gun suicides account for 83% of the total and for every two, gun-suicides there’s a one-gun related homicide.

(1-800-273-8255: The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline).

Hate Crimes
The rise in hate crimes has risen dramatically in 2016 and 2017 with no sign of mitigating in the current year.
Crimes against Blacks, Jews, Muslims and the LBGT community are all on the rise.  Closely linked hate speech is following a similarly vexing trajectory.

“Trump Anxiety”
Psychiatric consults have been on a record setting path since 2016.  Branded “Trump Anxiety”, it’s most commonly diagnosed among immigrants who have been victimized by His Majesty’s constant and unapologetic hate speech against non-white Americans resulting in “suicidal ideation.”  The ever-increasing numbers of sufferers are among our most vulnerable and his most “visible” targets.

Alcoholism

Alcohol sales have risen since 2016 by 18% for on premise restaurant/bar sales and more than 30% in off-premise, liquor store sales.  The rate of alcoholism has increased accordingly.

Drug addiction

Opioid related deaths increased 21% in 2016 and continued to rise thru 2017.  The Emperor’s failure to declare the opioid scourge a “National Emergency”, opting instead for the more benign designation as a national “Health Emergency”, has denied care givers the allocation of much needed federal funds to combat this lethal epidemic.

That’s enough for today…anyway, I’ve got to get to the liquor store since it’s “20% off wine” day.

I Want To Be T Rump’s Attorney

Why not?

It all boils down to qualifications.

First and foremost, I’m not a lawyer.  I have no boundaries when it comes to explaining what’s “legal” and what’s “not legal” as it relates to defending any and all of T Rump’s tweets and past and present bad acts.  Think about it.

Ignorance is power.

And it’s only a few baby steps that separate “power” from “absolute power,” based on my understanding of the legal limits of “power.”

When challenged by media interrogators about whether this or that will hold up in court, all I have to say, with unbridled confidence, is “it should.”

If an interrogator persists in casting aspersions on El Presidente, I can always default to three trusted “Go-to’s” or deflectors:  “Obama screwed up so bad…” or “Hillary, as we all know, should be locked up….” Or “Bill Clinton never apologized to Monica Lewinsky….”  The beauty of having the names of three notorious patsies to invoke is that T Rump’s fan base doesn’t care what I say about them…I can just make stuff up…just the mention of their names infuriates them and drives them closer to II Duce like an invisible life-force.

Let us not forget about the Constitution.  Being a non-attorney allows me to interpret the Constitution variously, as in, “Mein Herr, per the Constitution, has unrestricted and absolute power to do whatever he wants”… Or “The best legal minds all agree the Constitution allows Mr. Big to do all sorts of things”…

Bottom Line:  T Rump needs legal help and he needs it now (before Robert Mueller reveals the facts that define, beyond any doubt, “collusion”, “money laundering” and “treason”).

Screw the law.  It just gets in the way.

Consider this my resume.
